Jeannie's husband Eddie giving the gals

with Sharpie markers!

The artiste has finished his work!

It was in the 30's this morning.
That would not have been too bad except
the wind was BITING cold.
Still, we were very excited and happy!

Waiting for Traci at the 10-mile mark.
Lori is saying, "I can't BELIEVE I'm standing here
in SHORTS!!!!"
Jeannie is thinking, "I'm glad I'm not in my shorts yet..."

Lori attempting to remove the chip from Traci's ankle.
However, this proved to be difficult while wearing gloves!

Traci successfully gets the chip off her own ankle!
Then we sent Lori on her way for the 5K portion.

Traci and Jeannie walking towards transition 2,
where Jeannie will take over for the 1/2 marathon portion.
Sadly, Eddie was not able to get any pictures of
that transition.

Chip time:  3:45:01.
We had estimated 3:45 on our application!
How's that for an exact prediction????
